About net linen fabric: definition

Net linen fabric is a fine and transparent linen fabric with an openwork weave, sought after for its light and airy qualities.

What can net fabrics be used for?

The transparent nature of net fabric makes it ideal for sewing curtains, includingnet linen curtains. It allows light to pass through while providing a measure of privacy. Linen is a high-quality material, a top-of-the-range choice of fabric for interior decoration.

Net linen fabric can also be used for making scarves or stoles. On our website we also provide you witha tutorial for a scarf made of net linen fabric with an openwork weave. Since linen gets softer with each wash, your scarf will prove very pleasant to wear!

Biarritz: Couture Lin's range of net linen fabrics

Couture Lin has developed a range of net fabrics by the metre in the standard measurement of 1.5 yd wide, under the name of Biarritz. These fabrics share alow thickness (weight from 2 to 3 oz/yd²), which guarantees a light and airy feel. In our range of net linen fabrics you will find two neutral tones:off-white net linen fabricandnatural net linen fabric, and three net linen fabrics with an iridescent effect owing to a weave with two threads in different colours: iridescent pink net fabric, iridescent green net fabric(mist blue thread for the weft, green thread for the warp). Note that these coloured net fabrics each have an equivalent in fine fabrics, enabling you to match your curtains and cushions, for example.
